This session will be 10 days straight, through the weekend. Starts on a Monday, and will go on til Wednesday.
Book a Group or Private Class: If you don’t mind the wait, we can add your date to the calendar to offer a spot to one other student. Group classes are 2-people at a time. Or, if you’d like a specialized, private class, you can book a private class.
You can condense your two weeks (ten days) and make three pairs in the two weeks! (weekend in between you’ll have a break). Some have chosen 2 days a week, for 5 weeks. We will work with your timeline + calendar as much as we can.
This is the class where you can experiment more with toe shape changes and sculpting heels and wedges.
We recommend that you come with designs in mind, and communicate ahead of time to make sure supplies are available. (Lasts in your own size for example) We are able to custom order a last of your preference, such as heel height and toe shapes, so please plan ahead and communicate with us what type of last you’d like to make shoes on! Outsourced last development cost is not included in the class price.
The rest of information is similar to the 5-day intensive.
day 1-2 we make patterns. And start cutting material for a few pairs.
day 2-3 stitch up your uppers.
day 3-4-5 last the shoes.
day 5-6 make a few more patterns, and finish up the first 3 pairs.
day 7-8 cut material, sew and last the shoes
day 9-10 finish, soling, etc.
any other items like digitizing your patterns in illustrator, or using a cricut machine to cut material, we can cater to your needs.
