RELEASE FROM LIABILITY, HOLD HARMLESS AND WAIVER OF ALL CLAIMS

Representations of Participant: I understand that participating in the classes and activities held at Brooklyn Shoe Space may involve the use of tools and equipment that present a risk of injury or property damage. I agree to follow all directions and safety warnings providing by the Instructor(s) during the course of the activities, both to prevent injury to myself and to prevent damage to the tools and equipment used in the class. I acknowledge that the failure to apply techniques in the proper sequence and method may result in physical injury or damage to property. Further, I acknowledge that the activities of the course may require physical strength and/or exertion, which may exacerbate any pre-existing physical condition, and may cause minor injuries such as scratches, blisters, cuts, burns or bruises; such injuries are expected in the development of the skills necessary to the craft. I should not participate in the course if I have a physical or psychological condition that prevents my full and safe participation in the course. The Instructor(s) are in no way liable or responsible for medical costs or emergency evacuation as a result of my injuries, minor or otherwise.

Release of Liability, Hold Harmless and Waiver of All Claims: In return for admittance into the shoemaking course(s) or as members at Brooklyn Shoe Space, I _______________________________, on behalf of myself, my executors, administrators, heirs, next of kin and successors and assigns hereby Release from Liability, Hold Harmless and Waive All Claims against the Instructor(s), Brooklyn Shoe Space, assistants and all other entities affiliated with the Shoemaking Course(s) and the Brooklyn Shoe Space or any and all liabilities or damage, including death, disability, personal injury, property damage, property theft or claims or losses of any kind which may accrue as a result of my participation in, travel to or arising out of the Shoemaking Course(s). I further Release from Liability, Hold Harmless and Waive All Claims against the entities listed above even though the liability, loss or damage may arise in whole or in part out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the entities released in this wavier.

I acknowledge that this Release from Liability, Hold Harmless and Waiver of All Claims agreement will be used and relied upon by the Instructor(s), assistants and all other entities and that it will govern my actions and responsibilities at said Shoemaking Course(s). I understand that this agreement shall be construed broadly to provide a release, hold harmless and waiver to the maximum extent permissible under applicable law. Further, I have read, understand, and agree to abide by the rules of the event.

Release for Photos and other terms: I understand that I may be photographed, filmed, and/or videotaped during the Shoemaking Course. I agree to allow my name, photo, video or film likeness to be used for any legitimate purpose by the Instructor(s).

I have read the above Release from Liability, Hold Harmless and Waiver of All Claims. I have read the Terms and Conditions on the Brooklyn Shoe Space website, I acknowledge that I understand and agree to its contents.
